IT heritage of 2013 Universiade is successfully used at 16th FINA World championship

A unique access control system for accredited officials that was developed under the project of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications for the Universiade is being successfully used at 16th FINA World championship.
The FINA World Championships are one of the largest international events held under the auspices of the International Swimming Federation.
2, 400 sportsmen and 1, 800 officials from 190 countries came to Kazan to take part in the competitions. Journalists, volunteers, emergency services are working at the venues. Total number of accredited officials makes 36, 000 people.
“Informatika” company updated the access system and terminals in accordance with FINA requirements.
On November 27, "Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park" and Globus IT, a leading Russian integrator, signed a strategic agreement to establish a joint laboratory for training IT specialists, focused on building project teams for specific business needs. Director of "IT Park" Ruslan Vlasov and CEO of Globus IT Pavel Korotkiy with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, represented by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Bulat Gabdrakhmanov signed the document, which lays the foundation for a fundamentally new approach to technology education.
