According to the article 1 of the Tatarstan Law dated as of 19.02.1992 № 1448-ХII “About holidays and commemorative dates of the Republic of Tatarstan” and Tatarstan President’s order dated 22.06.2015 № ПУ-569 “About holidays Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha in 2015”, July 17 is announced a public holiday. All post offices will be closed.

Speaking at the weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, Head of the management of Tatarstan Post Ilnur Makhmutov said that in 2025, employees of the federal postal service management "Tatarstan Post" delivered 55 million letters and 16 million newspapers.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.

Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
