Roman Shaikhutdinov takes part in a meeting with Special Adviser to Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa

On May 19, at his meeting with Special Adviser to Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa at Tatarstan Government House, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that relations between Russia and Japan have extended and it is a good opportunity to develop cooperation between regions.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in the meeting.
Eiichi Hasegawa thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for organization of the visit and expressed his confidence that relations on the regional level should be developed. He introduced members of the Japanese delegation, executives of leading companies, experts working in food industry, representatives of universities and small enterprises, who briefly told about their business. They are interested in cooperation with their colleagues from Tatarstan.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
