MasterCard and Ak Bars Bank present “School card” project at Kazan IT-park

On October 22, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrey Pominov, MasterCard Vice-President Galina Ganeeva, Director of the Department of retail business of Ak Bars bank Marat Ganeev, and CEO of the Centre of information technologies Tatyana Kamaletdinova took part in press briefing on prospects of information technologies in educational process and the project “School card”.
According to Andrey Pominov, the project was launched because certain tasks were set before the government in the sphere of education. He also told about creation of educational portal edu.tatar.ru.

A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
