Anatoly Geller studies international experience in implementing emergency response systems

On October 8, Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Anatoly Geller took part in the 4th International congress ERA-GLONASS “Modern technologies for ensuring safety and comfort on roads”.
State policy in using navigation technologies, implementation and development of ERA-GLONASS project, and foreign experience in implementing emergency response systems were discussed at the session.
ERA-GLONASS is the state information and analysis emergency response system. In case of an accident information about the vehicle is sent to call centre via 112 number.
From January 1, 2015 all transport vehicles in all countries of the Customs Union will be equipped with ERA-GLONASS devices.
Currently, Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications is cooperating with ERA-GLONASS operator on issues of integration of the system with the Unified state information system “GLONASS+112”.
Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
