Resident of IT-park presents “smart bus” to Tatarstan President

On October 7, within the framework of opening of Cisco Innovation Centre at Higher School of Information Technologies and Information Systems, a "smart bus", a new project of IT-park residents, was presented to Rustam Minnikhanov.
A city bus is equipped with high speed internet access and video cameras to monitor the traffic. As a result, the bus cameras can independently record various traffic violations and send information to the traffic police servers.
According to Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, such crowdsourcing will replace special parking control services.
On December 29, the weekly meeting of the digital industry of Tatarstan discusses the key achievements of the republic in the IT sector for 2025:
• Gross industry revenue—269 billion roubles (forecast, +35% year-on-year);
On December 22, at the final meeting of Interdepartmental working group No. 15 for the implementation of the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State", Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin welcomed the participants and summed up the work of the group for 2025 and presented impressive indicators for the development of the digital economy of Tatarstan.
At a weekly meeting, communication industry companies, subordinate organizations and heads of departments of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications discussed key achievements in the communication industry and digital development in 2025.
On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
