Session of the project site “Innovations, information and technologies” held in Kazan

On October 3, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov opened the project site “Innovations, information and technologies” organized within the framework of preparation of the Strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030.

“Information technologies is one the most rapidly developing industries, with the highest added value and labour efficiency indexes. We see development of Tatarstan IT industry in human resources and infrastructure,” Roman Shaikhutdinov said.

Russian IT industry is very prospective, Russian specialists take senior positions at international IT companies, and Russian is the second popular language on the Internet.

Tatarstan is one of leading regions in the industry, the share of ICT in Tatarstan GRP makes 3.15%.

The Ministry of Information and Communications will support information security, increase of labour efficiency and development of robotics as the most prospective areas.
