Lecture of professor Michele Mazzucco

Professor Michele Mazzucco will deliver a lecture "Introduction to performance engineering and Quality of Service provisioning" on July 9 at 14.00. The Italian specialist in the sphere of computer science will visit Kazan by the invitation of Innopolis University, and tell about his scientific and business interests.
Michele Mazzucco graduated from Bologna University and did PhD at New Castle University. He was involved in several EU projects and worked on optimization of data centres.
Mr Mazzucco is the author of research works and papers presented at major conferences on cloud computing and green computing.
Since 2008 – member of Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Since 2012 has held the position of Capacity Planning Engineer at Demonware.
Areas of interest: Distributed Systems, Web Services, Java, Concurrent Programming, Black Box Testing (jUnit, TestNG, JMock), version control (Git, SVN), JMS, R, Ant, HAProxy.

The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov approved the decision of Tatarstan government to allocate 55.3 million roubles from the regional budget to support 2,300 employees of rural postal offices in 2026.
A new practice tool for preparing for the USE has been launched on the State Services Portal (Gosuslugi)l. It allows students to reinforce their knowledge and practice solving typical exam tasks.
Since September 2024, Tatarstan residents could receive rewards through the "People’s Inspector" app for reporting traffic violations. During this period, over 12,000 reports were submitted across seven paid categories, earning citizens a total of 5.6 million roubles. The top earner was a resident of the republic who submitted 226 reports and received 275,000 roubles. The second-highest earner earned 260,800 roubles for 209 reports.
