25 June 2014, Wednesday
The system “Public inspector” for collecting data about traffic violations and road accidents that is being created in Tatarstan was presented to Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at Tatarstan Government House today.
Director General of OOO “Electronic document management – Service” Timur Yakubov told that the system will enable citizens fixing and sending data from their dash cameras to State Road Traffic Inspectorate. Photo and video evidence of such a common violation as parking on lawns and other forbidden places can also be sent to “Public inspector” system.
A special automated system for messages processing will be created to make work of employees of State Road Traffic Inspectorate easier. According to results of data processing, certain administrative orders will be made.
Developers offer creating special mobile applications for different devices that will help ensuring data reliability and prevent sending of fake photos and videos.
The developers say that the system will increase drivers’ responsibility on roads.
Ildar Khalikov supported the idea of developing “Public inspector” system. However, he noted some legal problems to be solved during development and use of the system.
