90 people took part in Hackathon QIWI Universe in Kazan IT park

More than 90 participants, 20 experts, 21 ideas and a great number of cups of coffee, - this is Hackathon QIWI Universe that was held in Kazan IT park on June 9. Designers and programmers came to demonstrate their skills in creating software products.
Within 24 hours participants of the event had to create a working prototype of a project in the sphere of Big data, financial services, E-commerce, M-commerce, user identification services, virtual and augmented reality.
Authors of the best projects received cash grants (30, 20, and 10 thousand roubles) and prizes.
Kazan round was the final in series of events held in Minsk, Novosibirsk and Moscow.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
On November 27, "Technopark in the sphere of high technologies "IT Park" and Globus IT, a leading Russian integrator, signed a strategic agreement to establish a joint laboratory for training IT specialists, focused on building project teams for specific business needs. Director of "IT Park" Ruslan Vlasov and CEO of Globus IT Pavel Korotkiy with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, represented by Deputy Minister of Digitalization of the republic Bulat Gabdrakhmanov signed the document, which lays the foundation for a fundamentally new approach to technology education.
