Results of first preliminary round of International contest “IT planet 2013/2014”

Results of first round of the International contest “IT planet 2013/2014” were summarized. Due to the contest young people interested in information technologies can take part in major contests of international and Russian IT companies.
Competitions are organized with the auspices of Oracle, Cisco, D-Link, Intel, Huawei, 1С, Intel, NetApp, InterSystems, odnoklassniki, and Linuxcenter. Practice-oriented contest programme enables to understand requirements of employers, get acquainted with representatives of IT leaders, and make first steps towards successful career.
This year students from higher and secondary professional educational institutions, and graduate students can take part in the contest.
Students from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, Tadjikistan took part in the first round. The Republic of Tatarstan was presented by 184 students. 16 participants showed best results.
1343 students and specialists were invited to take part in the second round of the contest.
Most competitions will be held using servers Infobox company, the hosting partner of the Olympic Games. Technical capacities are used on this scale for the first time, which is a unique case in modern history of IT competitions.
Those students who will successfully pass selection rounds, will meet at final international competitions in Russia.
On December 11, Moscow hosted this year's important IT events: the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Sprint to the Future - Code of Success!" award and the Sprint 2.0 Accelerator Demo Day.
In accordance with the Procedure for providing subsidies from the budget of Tatarstan in 2025 to telecom operators to reimburse costs associated with providing mobile radiotelephone services on sections of the M-12 and M-7 highways located in Tatarstan, approved by Resolution No. 1032 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan dated 02.12.2025 (hereinafter referred to as the Procedure) and Order No. p/334 of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications dated 10.12.2025, the deadlines for submitting applications for subsidies from the budget of the republic have been established.
Digital Transformation Centre of Tatarstan reported that in 2025, Tatarstan completed a digital infrastructure upgrade, which affected server capacity, government employee workplaces, email services and video surveillance.
