Innopolis University opens Bachelor’s programmes in ComputerScience and SoftwareEngineering

Innopolis University announced opening of the contest among students of 3-5 courses of top Russian and foreign universities in the sphere of information technologies. Winners of the contest will receive a grant for Bachelor’s programmes in ComputerScience and SoftwareEngineering.
Afterwards, students will continue studying at their universities.
Students who will receive grants will attend lectures of leading Russian and foreign professors, and will have an opportunity to undertake an internship up to 6 weeks at major international innovative centres in Singapore, Hong Kong, Silicon Valley, and European countries (Great Britain, Switzerland, Germany, Finland).
Applications will be received till March 29, 2014. Candidates need to submit a motivation letter, CV in English, academic record transcript, and results of TOEFL or IELTS.

On March 14 at 7:00 p.m. the Cryptopolygon of the Bashir Rameev IT Park will host a discussion “How digital innovations develop the cities of Tatarstan”, which will be held under the “City Moderators” programme from the online magazine Enter.
In preparation for the international competition "Games of the Future", Innostage Company organized a webinar on countering phishing technologies from Innostage for employees of executive authorities of Tatarstan. Over 2.5 thousand people took part in the training, organized in connection with the increase in cyber attacks on government employees and the growth of threats related to the penetration into the IT infrastructure of government services.
MTS, a digital ecosystem, has expanded LTE coverage on a seventy-kilometer section of the M-12 federal highway and in settlements adjacent to the road near the western border of the republic. The operator built new base stations here and installed additional telecom equipment. As a result of the work carried out, the speed of mobile Internet for car users and residents of nearby villages increased by 30 per cent.
On February 27, International Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications hosted the opening of the student fan club "Rubin".
During the event, students learned more about the football club: the history of its establishment and events held by the club.
