Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the creation of a national messenger, which will be integrated with government services. Tatarstan became a pilot region for the implementation of this new platform.
This decision is due to the high level of digitalization of the republic, which has been recognized as a leader among Russian regions in this indicator. Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin noted: "This initiative opens a new stage in the development of domestic digital infrastructure. Our region has the necessary infrastructure and competencies accumulated over the years of successful implementation of digital projects."
The key feature of the national messenger will be full interaction with the State Services Portal, which will help citizens to receive the necessary certificates and documents directly in the messenger's personal account, signing requests with an e-signature.
Particular attention will be paid to the creation of a built-in AI assistant that will be able to quickly provide consultations on the use of the public services portal, inform about important news and events.
On June 19, strategic steps for the active implementation of domestic software in the public administration of Tatarstan were discussed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Regional Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin and CEO of the VK group of companies Vladimir Kiriyenko held the meeting. One of the important initiatives announced at the meeting was the replacement of foreign mail servers with Russian analogues, one of the candidates for replacement is the VK Max product.
