Summer lecture to discuss what it means to be human in the age of AI

6 July 2026, Monday

On July 8, the Bashir Rameev IT Park will host the sixth open lecture of the "Scientific Code: Summer Lectures" series. The topic of discussion is "Beyond humanity: What does it mean to be human in the age of strong artificial intelligence?"

A technology entrepreneur and advisor to the Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on AI implementation Bulat Ganiev will deliver the lecture. Together with the audience, he will explore key ideas on how the development of artificial intelligence is transforming human nature and sharpening the question of the boundaries of being human. We will get acquainted with the history of the philosophy of technology — from antiquity to the present day.

The lecture will begin at 6:30 PM, with guests welcome from 5:30 PM in the inner courtyard of the Bashir Rameev IT Park. Admission is free, but registration is required.

The summer lectures are free for guests and are held under the "Summer in Tatarstan" project. At the event, you will not only learn something new but also enjoy cocktails, play table tennis and simply have a wonderful evening.

Attendees receive special stickers for each lecture they attend. If you collect 10 or more stickers, you can receive a great prize from the organizers.

See you at the lecture!
