7 July 2026, Tuesday

Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin took part in the graduation ceremony at the International Competence Centre — Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications. This year, 394 young IT specialists graduated from the college, with every fourth graduate receiving an honors diploma.

Students of the college undergo internships at specialized enterprises in Tatarstan, which has allowed 62% of the young professionals to secure employment. Among the 2026 graduates are four winners and prize-winners of the finals of the "Professionals" professional skills competition. The majority of graduates are residents of the republic, while 68 young people came from other regions of Russia, and one student is a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.

Nachvin spoke to the graduates about the republic's AI development programme and the "Algarysh in the Field of Artificial Intelligence" grant competition. Grant recipients will be able to pursue training at foreign educational institutions. The programme is designed for future students, thus the minister urged the graduates to continue their education at universities in order to participate in the project.
