Tatarstan residents can submit applications to participate in "Digital Transformation Leaders," Russia's largest international hackathon. The submittance of applications is now open.
This year, participants will be tasked to solve 20 challenges from Moscow's executive authorities, Russian IT companies and corporations. Teams will develop solutions in the following areas: artificial intelligence, urban process automation, unmanned technologies, digital modeling, big data analytics and data-driven decision support systems.
The winning team for each challenge receives 1 million roubles, the second-place team receives 600,000 roubles and the third-place team receives 400,000 roubles. Additionally, winners gain the opportunity to have their developments implemented.
Teams of up to five people can be formed by specialists from anywhere in the world aged 16 and over. Applications are submitted until September 14 on the hackathon's website.
Over the seven years since the "Digital Transformation Leaders" award was established (in 2019), more than 51,000 people from Moscow, other regions of Russia and 45 countries have participated in the contest. In the past season, participants solved challenges from Gazprombank.Tech, VK Tech, Kaspersky Lab, Soyuzmultfilm and the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.
