During the implementation of the federal project "Code of the Future," approximately 22,800 students from Tatarstan have learned programming and artificial intelligence skills for free. In the first half of 2026 alone, over 4,000 students from grades 8-11 and college students completed the courses.
The "Code of the Future" programme, initiated by Russian Ministry of Digital Development, is a part of the federal project "Personnel for Digital Transformation" within the national "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State" initiative. Since 2022, more than 250,000 young people across the country have completed the courses.
The programme includes three areas of training: programming, robotics and artificial intelligence. Before starting, each participant undergoes testing to determine their level: beginner, basic, advanced or professional.
The curriculum is divided into four modules. The schedule covers popular programming languages such as 1C, Python, Java, C++, and others. The total workload is no less than 144 academic hours.
Everyone who successfully completes the programme receives a certificate. In 2026, this document provides two key advantages:
Up to 10 extra points for the Unified State Exam (EGE). The certificate is recognized by 155 Russian universities for admissions.
A scholarship for study at the Central University. The amount depends on the level of mastery:
For "beginner," "basic," and "advanced" levels — the scholarship covers at least 25% of the tuition cost;
For the "professional" level — at least 50%.
To qualify for extra points or a scholarship, participants should have an issued final certificate. It is awarded after completing all modules and passing the final exam.
