Over 51,000 telemedicine consultations conducted via Max in Tatarstan

Doctors in Tatarstan have carried out over 51,000 telemedicine consultations and remotely issued approximately 46,300 sick-lists using Max messenger platform.

How do telemedicine consultations work?

The first step is a personal visit to the clinic. The doctor assesses your condition and, if possible, offers to continue the interaction through "Max"

The doctor records your phone number and schedules an online consultation date.

The decision to switch to a remote format is made solely by the attending physician, based on the severity of the illness and the specifics of your health.

If further examinations are needed, the doctor will advise you to visit the clinic.

When your treatment course is nearing completion, on the scheduled day, all you need to do is open the app.

24 hours before the appointment, "Max" will send a notification with the date, time and a link to connect.

A reminder about the call will appear 15 minutes prior.

You connect via your smartphone, while the doctor works through the platform’s web version and records all information directly into the "Electronic healthcare system of Tatarstan".

If during the online consultation the doctor confirms that you are healthy, the e-sick list is closed right during the call.

This format is especially convenient for residents of rural areas. Now, there is no need to visit the clinic in person—simply install "Max" on your smartphone and give consent for an online consultation. Currently, telemedicine consultations are available throughout the republic.

Since November 2025, through the "Tatarstan Healthcare" bot in "Max," you can also schedule appointments with a doctor. The messenger assists from planning the visit to the online consultation and the remote closing of sick leave.

The national project "Data Economy" is aimed at making interactions between the government and citizens as simple, seamless and secure as possible. The services provided by the "Max" messenger platform fully align with the goals and objectives of this national initiative.
