Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvin visited the Leninogorsk region and had a meeting with residents at the annual citizens' meeting.
In 2025, the Leninogorsk region made significant progress in implementing new technologies and digital services. Head of the region Marat Girfanov noted that this year, ambitious plans have been outlined to continue developing high-quality digitalization.
The Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan shared the following digital achievements in the region:
The total number of telephone users in the region amounts to 9,073;
The share of households with wired internet in the region has increased to 78%, significantly higher than the national average;
Under the federal UCN 2.0 program, new base stations were installed in the village of Yultimirovo and the settlement of Michurin, providing 470 residents with high-quality mobile communications and internet service.
23,645 subscribers in the region currently use broadband internet, and 3,188 households are already connected via fiber optic (GPON) technology.
In 2024, post offices in the villages of Nizhnie Chershily and Kuakbash were renovated and modernized to provide residents with modern digital capabilities.
"Only through honest dialogue with residents of the region we know what to do next and which issues require immediate attention. Your opinions are taken into account in our work," Nachvin said.
