On December 29, the weekly meeting of the digital industry of Tatarstan discusses the key achievements of the republic in the IT sector for 2025:
• Gross industry revenue—269 billion roubles (forecast, +35% year-on-year);
• Tax revenues to budgets at all levels— 42 billion roubles;
Support measures, federal funding:
• 684 accredited IT companies + the "kITyk" programme (simplified tax system 1%);
• Loans up to 9 million roubles with a rate of ≤6% – total volume: 42 billion roubles;
• Preferential IT mortgages—4,696 agreements, 2.2 billion roubles attracted;
• Grants and subsidies (Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises, KTITS, FRII) — ≈500 million rubles.
International development and special projects:
• IT services exports — 9.93 million US dollars for the first half of 2025;
• IT Hub in Qatar: 15 export companies, planned first contract volume — 1 million US dollars (2026);
• Pilot contract for software development (November 2025);
• Participation in 12 of 16 federal IT projects (Data Economy, AI, Cybersecurity, Human Resources, etc.).
Scientific and technological development:
• Quantum memory (KNITU KAI) — funding ≈50 million roubles (federal programmes);
• Clear Sky Research and Production Center — 2 billion roubles, 8,212 m², 6 of 17 residents are IT companies;
• Science and Technology Fund grants — 128.2 billion roubles attracted for IT R&D, 336.8 billion roubles in extra-budgetary funds.
IT community and events:
• 3,552 IT companies in the republic, including 16 systemically important;
• 12,400 new jobs (2025);
• 34+ IT companies re-registered in Tatarstan;
• 360 startups (33% IT), 119 new projects in 2025;
• Major events: Kazan Digital Week 2025 (20,000+ participants, 286 companies from 75 countries), Russian Startup Week, the Regional CTF Tournament, IT Ambassadors at universities (12 ambassadors, +32% growth in events).
