Registration for educational institutions for the International Olympiad "IT Planet 2026" starts

The IT-Planet Olympiad is a large-scale initiative aimed at identifying and supporting the most talented and practically prepared students and young specialists in the ICT field. Approximately 20,000 people from over 1,000 universities and colleges in Russia and the CIS participate in the competition annually, underscoring its status as a key event for the educational community. Universities and colleges can be registered by their official representatives from November 10, 2025, through February 28, 2026, on the Olympiad's official website, it-planet.org.

Registration will ensure centralized and team participation for undergraduate and graduate students in the contest. All registered institutions are automatically included in the ranking of the best educational organizations in participating countries. Competing for a place in this ranking is an opportunity to demonstrate the quality of their training and become a leader in IT education. Last season, Sevastopol State University and the Ufa State College of Technology and Design became champions. IT-Planet is an efficient social platform for students and graduates. The Olympiad is aimed at not only testing and improving the knowledge of participants but also gaining direct access to career opportunities. Every year, approximately 400 out of 20,000 participants reach the finals, and 70 become winners. They receive recognition, valuable prizes, and, most importantly, invitations to internships, work placements, or employment opportunities from leading IT companies.
