TATAR SUN IT Conference: AI Revolution and the Queen of Code set IT Trends

23 November 2025, Sunday

On November 22, the Bashir Rameev IT-park hosted the third TATAR SUN IT conference.

This time, the event brought together over 1,000 participants: professional developers, students, business representatives and those shaping the republic's digital future.

Technological Drive and Open Dialogue

Discussions and topics ranged from the challenges society poses by developing artificial intelligence to bridging the gap between humans and neural networks.

Leading experts from Sber, MTS AI, Alfa Investments and School 21 presented relevant reports, hot discussions and practical hackathon cases, all to demonstrate the real benefits of technology for the region's economy.

Among the speakers were: Mikhail Novatorsky and his topic: «Skills against turbulence: how AI helps to become indispensable (but it is not accurate)», Ilya Mirin with theme: «Summary as an act of fatigue: lies, demands and burden to be perfect», Andrey Vlasov, who told about evolution into Omni developer, a new dominant kind of developers.

"In Russia, there are many conferences for business, the public sector and large exhibitions, but none specifically for the IT community, specifically for AI development and special projects. I wish the participants the most productive time: make useful connections, find efficient digital and AI solutions and set new professional goals," Deputy Minister of Digitalization Bulat Gabdrakhmanov commented.

Hackathon for the Development of Ideas and Talents

The large-scale hackathon attracted special attention from the guests: 10 teams, selected from hundreds of applicants, spent the entire day solving real-world problems from business partners and social organizations. The participation of women in each team was mandatory, as a way to support female IT leadership.

The Yin Yang team, comprised of specialists from various companies, took first place in the hackathon. The developers created a system for automatically processing customer requests proposed by Engineering and Production Center Company. Their solution stood out not only for its technological excellence but also for its practical applicability.

Silver went to the GigaCourme team from Sber, which developed the StartupScore AI intelligent startup scoring system. The case was provided by the IT Park and aimed at creating a tool for objectively assessing the viability of startup projects.

The bronze medalists were specialists from The One Market and their team of the same name. They successfully implemented the "IT Pulse of Tatarstan" case study—a multi-agent system for monitoring the IT ecosystem proposed by Sber's Technohub.

"Queen of Code"—a symbol of new horizons

The "Queen of Code" special competition, a hallmark of the TATAR SAN IT conference, brought together the best female developers of Tatarstan for the second time. Launched last year at the conference's inception, this project continues the tradition of supporting talented women in the IT area and demonstrates their key role in digital transformation.

During the competition, participants from various hackathon teams created their own AI agents, which were presented on the event's main stage. Liana Mardanova from the "Yin Yang" team emerged as the winner. Ekaterina Dudalova from the CompLit team at Kazan State Power Engineering University ranked second.

"Queen of Code," with a prize fund of 300,000 rubles, continues to promote women's participation in IT and the development of equal opportunities in the technology sector of Tatarstan.

A platform for like-minded people, a platform for opportunities

The TATAR SAN IT conference is a venue for constructive debate, a networking platform, new collaborations and the emergence of powerful case studies. Leading companies and educational organizations, such as School 21, Kazan Federal University and Sberbank are among the partners, further underscoring the event's status.

Tatarstan has everything it needs to remain a driver of Russia's digital development. Due to the initiatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization and the support of industrial giants, an environment is being created where innovation is accessible to everyone and artificial intelligence is an ally for large companies and individuals.
