On the eve of the International Anti-Corruption Day, an open lecture on "Implementation of the state anti-corruption policy" was held under the anti-corruption education programme. Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Tatarstan and Chairman of the Council of Public Organizations and Associations of Tatarstan for Combating Corruption Sergey Lvovich Alekseyev led the event.
Employees of information technology (IT) and communications companies, as well as representatives of subordinate organizations and departments of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization were invited to the lecture.
Sergey Lvovich Alekseyev touched upon the historical aspects of combating corruption in Russia, from Ivan III and the creation of the 1497 Code of Laws to the present day. The participants discussed contemporary challenges in combating corruption, current legislative changes, and the role of society and the state in fostering an anti-corruption culture.
The meeting participants discussed specific examples and developed new ideas for further improving anti-corruption policy in the republic.
