Scammers call and, under the pretext of a "temporary number block" or "the need to re-register a SIM card," attempt to obtain personal information, codes from SMS, and even offer to contact a "specialist." The goal is to gain access to your personal data and funds.
How to protect yourself:
You can independently and securely check the number of SIM cards registered in your name through the State Services Portal (section "Information about registered numbers").
If you receive such a call about "new rules" regarding a number, end the conversation. No official operator or government agency will request personal information over the phone.
