The Children's IT Park opens the exhibition "Informatics in Everything" to mark the 40th anniversary of the school subject
On October 6, 2025, the Children's IT Park in Kazan hosted the solemn opening of the "Informatics in Everything" exhibition. Yandex Museum and Yandex Textbook with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Education and Science of the republic and the IT Park created the exhibition. The exhibition commemorates a significant date: the 40th anniversary of the introduction of Informatics as a compulsory subject in the school curriculum.
Visitors are invited to take a unique journey through time: from the first computer labs of 1985 to modern IT professions.
The exhibition is divided into thematic zones. The first section, "Journey to the Past: Computer Classroom 1985," recreates the atmosphere of the era when the "Fundamentals of Computer Science and Computer Engineering" course was introduced.
In the second part of " Informatics in Everything: Professions of the Future," visitors will learn how computer science has become the foundation for today's most in-demand professions—from creative director and AI trainer to data journalist and industrial designer.
With the help of interactive installations, stories of real Yandex specialists and tour guides visitors will see that IT skills are necessary not only for programmers, but also professionals from different areas.
The exhibition will be held until October 26. Each tour group will be led by Yandex Textbook representatives, interactively immersing children and adults in the world of IT technologies. Admission to the exhibition is free with advance registration at: https://yandex.ru/museum/informatika40
The "Informatics in Everything" exhibition is a continuation of Yandex Textbook's collaboration with Tatarstan, which began with the First Educational Meeting for Teachers from regions of Tatarstan in April 2025.
