The children’s IT Park hosted a lesson on digital security: how to protect yourself from online fraud?
Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan Bulat Gabdrakhmanov held a Digital literacy lesson on the topic: "Online fraud" for students of the children's IT park, which were held under the national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State". The schoolchildren learned the basics of digital education.
Gabdrakhmanov informed about the work of the Ministry of Digitalization of Tatarstan and well-known IT companies in the region. The main topic of discussion was digital security. Using the example of a popular game, he explained the importance of protection in the digital space and ways to avoid fraudsters' tricks.
The kids watched a video tutorial and discussed how to protect themselves and their parents from scammers. They learned who the hackers are and why it is important to enter your data carefully, especially your phone number. At the end of the lesson, Deputy Minister gave advice on Internet security and wished the children to spend time online with benefits. Such lessons help children to consciously approach the use of the Internet and develop digital security skills!
