Qatar on the horizon: Business mission outcomes and new opportunities for Tatarstan IT industry
On March 4, the Bashir Rameev IT Park hosted a meeting, which discussed results of the recent business mission to the capital of Qatar, Doha and outlined upcoming tasks. The meeting brought together representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization and the IT industry, including Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Tatarstan Bulat Gabdrakhmanov and Director of the IT Park Ruslan Vlasov to discuss the prospects for cooperation with Qatar and share their experience of the trip.
They touched upon the topics of the format of the Qatar-Tatarstan International IT Hub, interaction with residents under the hub's activities, analysis of Qatar's government programmes and features of the presentation of IT solutions for international companies.
The meeting participants noted the importance of such events for strengthening international cooperation and attracting IT companies to Tatarstan and emphasized that Qatar is a promising market for Tatarstan developers, and active work is planned in the near future to attract local companies to joint activities. The meeting ended with a summary and discussion of further plans for developing partnerships with Qatar.
