Set self-restraint on loans: a new step to financial security on the State Services Portal

3 March 2025, Monday

Since March 1, 2025, a new service has become available on the State Services Portal — setting a voluntary self-restraint on receiving loans and credits. This tool is intended to increase the protection of citizens from fraudulent actions related to the registration of loans under pressure. Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin emphasized: "This service will contribute to the protection of the population from unfair practices and prevent the possibility of registering credit obligations under the influence of fraudsters".

How does self-restraint work? After submitting the application, a special mark appears in the citizen's credit history, confirming the introduction of self-prohibition regime.

Thus, the new service provides citizens with a reliable mechanism of financial security protection and helps to avoid risks related to credit fraud.
