"School 21" in Kazan celebrates its fifth anniversary. During this time, about 115,000 applications for a sought-after IT profession were submitted to the digital technology school from Sber. Campus graduates got jobs in successful companies, including Sber, Ak Bars Digital, Inсomsystem, ICL Soft, Innopolis Special Economic Zone, Innostage, MTS, Wildberries and others. At the same time, almost 90% of "School 21" graduates remain to live and work in Tatarstan, confirming the status of "School 21" as one of the key players in the IT industry in the republic.
"School 21 makes a huge contribution to the digital transformation of Tatarstan. In the context of a noticeable shortage of IT specialists, it has become one of the key educational platforms for the industry: it is an accessible entry point into the profession. On the other hand, it maintains a consistently high level of quality of education. 100% employment of graduates of the IT company of Tatarstan is the best proof of the success of the Kazan campus of School 21," Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin said.
Anyone over 18 can enroll in the main course at School 21. There is no upper age limit. You can choose a development area: backend, frontend, mobile development, GameDev — or one of the five new areas of School 21, where the ability to write code is not required: cybersecurity, working with big data, systems and business analysis, DevOps and ensuring the smooth operation of high-load services, as well as software testing. Participants of School 21 learn to work on their projects individually and in a team, and also undergo mandatory internships in large IT companies of the republic. Currently, 1,200 participants are studying on campus, and for half of them, programming has become a completely new experience that they are mastering from scratch.
"School 21" is a digital technology school from Sber, which gives everyone over 18 who successfully passed the selection stages the opportunity to receive a sought-after education in the IT area for free.
