Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications under the national project «Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State» implements the All-Russian educational project «Lesson of Digit», which is aimed at developing digital competences and early career guidance: thematic lessons will help to get acquainted with promising professions in the IT sector and get information about entrepreneurship, research and other career paths in the information technology.

On 29 January, Deputy Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Bulat Gabdrakhmanov held a digital literacy lesson at the 33 Kazan Grammar School with the topic: safe behavior on the Internet when looking for a job and buying goods.

Gabrahmanov also informed the schoolchildren how easy it is to become a victim of fraudsters when they send phishing links requiring the entry of personal data. He advised students to be careful when interacting with online platforms and keep their personal information safe.

In addition, the lesson showed the children that every schoolchild can start learning information technology already at school, as one of the students did, writing a bot in Telegram for the Ministry of Digitalization of Tatarstan. Such a story inspires children to study IT and digital literacy.

Digital literacy courses provide schoolchildren with valuable skills and support their aspirations to achieve success in their career choices and digital competencies.
