The qualifying rounds of the IT-Planet Professionals 2024 championship and the Active IT Education 2024 competition start in Russia

On August 1, in order to support professionals and beginners in the field of development, as well as to involve young people in studying Russian information technologies, Russia launched the qualifying rounds of two new initiatives: the Championship for professionals middle and junior+ specialists "IT-Planet Professionals 2024" and the Open Competition for teachers and mentors "Active IT Education 2024". These events are organized by the Center for the Development of Innovative Technologies "IT-Planet" in partnership with the Russian software developer SberTech and the platform for working with source code GitVerse, on which participants will complete tasks, and the Russian platform for innovative competitions Braim. The total prize fund is 4 million roubles.

Testing will help check skills in working with a computer and other digital devices, knowledge of safety rules and the culture of communication on the Internet, as well as financial cyber literacy.
