In summer, MTS blocked 22 million spam calls in Tatarstan

MTS, the digital ecosystem, analyzed the number of calls from spammers and scammers to Tatarstan residents during June-August 2024. With anti-spam solutions using big data analysis, MTS blocked about 22 million unwanted calls during the summer, which is one and a half times more than in the previous year. Most often, spammers with advertising offers, collectors and financial organizations tried to call Tatarstan residents. Potential scammers took fifth place in this anti-rating. The average duration of one blocked call was 12 seconds.
