Experts of the Cyberthreat Counteraction Center Innostage SOC CyberART conducted a study of hacking activity in the Russian IT segment for the summer season 2024, identifying key trends in attacks by cyber intelligence tools using open data (OSINT).
In particular, the seasonal trend of decreasing number of IS-incidents such as defacement and leaks of unique user data was identified. On the contrary, DDoS attacks were carried out one and a half times more often.
