11 September 2024, Wednesday

Innostage IT company has announced a two-fold increase in rewards for participants of open cyber tests (OCT). The programme is implemented on the platform for security researchers Standoff Bug Bounty and is aimed at testing and improving the cyber resilience of businesses.

According to the terms of the OCT from Innostage, an unacceptable event is the transfer of up to 2,000 roubles from the company's accounts to the controlled accounts of independent researchers. At the launch of the programme, on May 26, for the implementation of the unacceptable event and a report on the actions taken, white hackers were promised a reward of 5 million roubles. On the first day of the international forum Kazan Digital Week-2024, Innostage increased the rate to 10 million roubles. To date, over 600 independent information security researchers have registered as participants in open cyber tests. The decision to increase the main reward is aimed at attracting even more highly qualified security researchers, as well as accelerating the process of detecting and eliminating critical vulnerabilities.
