In March, Letay base stations were modernized in suburban areas, which led to an increase in the quality of the communication signal and the speed of mobile Internet for residents of the villages of Stolbishche and Gabishevo in the Laishevo region, as well as the villages of Mirny and Konstantinovka near Kazan.
The attention to these locations is not accidental: in spring, traffic additionally moves outside the city, due to which the load on the network of suburban base stations is “densifying”.
Last month, the blank spots on the communication map of Tatarstan became even smaller due to the work carried out on the Letay network in 13 settlements of the republic. In two locations, mobile Internet appeared for the first time - the village of Shikhazda, Pestrechinsky region and the village of Panovka, Vysokogorsky region. Internet speed has also increased in the settlements of Suar and Sidorovka in Naberezhnye Chelny, Tashly-Elga in the Kukmor region, Cherny Klyuch in the Cheremshan region, Nagornoye in the Almetyevsk region and in the village of the state farm after Vorovsky Menzelinsk region.
Another bonus for Letay subscribers was the reduction in the waiting time for a dial tone by 20 per cent. And due to the expansion of the network in the high-frequency LTE range, mobile Internet has accelerated not only for residents of certain areas, but also for those traveling around the republic.
