On February 15, under the bus marathon “Tatarstan – the republic of Achievements”, the House of Culture in Leninogorsk hosted the panel discussion moderated by the journalist, presenter of State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company "Tatarstan" Dmitry Vtorov, where Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications Ayrat Khayrullin, Head of Leninogorsk municipal region Ryagat Khusainov were the speakers. Ayrat Khayrullin said that the Leninogorsk region was one of the first to take up the informatization of schools, where spaces for the development of children are actively opening. Under the national project «Education», Leninogorsk School 6 acquired computing software and presentation equipment. Now students can get acquainted with digital technologies, make the first steps in programming.
Due to the federal project «Information Infrastructure» of the national project «Digital Economy of the Russian Federation», fiber-optic communication line in all social institutions in the Leninogorsk region was provided. Special emphasis is placed on rural settlements with fire stations, offices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the obstetric centres, libraries, houses of culture and administration.The Minister also emphasized that due to the use of digital public services, Tatarstan people saved 38 million hours and more than 16 billion roubles. As many as 97 per cent of Tatarstan residents use the Internet - this is more than 24 per cent in the whole country.
