Tatarstan schoolchildren to be taught for free how to “sew” digital clothes

MTS, a digital ecosystem, launched an all-Russian educational program on digital fashion on the online platform «Generation M». In a short time, Tatarstan teenagers will gain basic skills of digital clothing designer, learn 3D modeling technologies and learn how to use MTS artificial intelligence to generate different design elements in the neural network. Based on the results of the training, students will create their own virtual fashion collection, and the best works will be released in collaboration with the popular fashion brand.

Course participants will learn various aspects of digital fashion, including creating virtual clothing, shoes and accessories in professional modeling programmes. Schoolchildren will learn to work with three-dimensional models, reproduce digital analogues of fabrics, and master virtual fitting of clothes for different body types. The free online course was developed by the MTS AI team and fashion industry experts, taking into account current trends in fashion and digital technology. Based on the results of its completion, young digital designers will be able to take part in an all-Russian contest to create a virtual capsule of merch for MTS.
