High-performance computing school opened at Innopolis University

The summer school of high-performance computing and their application in modern medicine and biology opened at Innopolis University on September 8. The co-organizer of the event is Moscow Physics and Technology Institute.
Aleksandr Tormasov, rector of Innopolis University, presented a major Innopolis project and the University as a think tank. He told about cooperation with foreign universities, including the MA programme of Carnegie Mellon University.
Aleksei Lobanov, the founder of summer school told about purposes of the project. Students will learn about general medical and biological problems that can be solved with the help of high-performance computing technologies.
The Professor of University of Rome Tor Vergata and Director at BioLink Institute Paolo Di Nardo delivered an introduction lecture «Biomedicine: from Discovery to an Information Science» in English.

On February 22, 2025, the Cyber Park Arena (Bashir Rameev IT Park) hosted a unique cybersport tournament, CyberTsiphroviada, created specifically for employees of IT companies in Tatarstan.
