The Kazan branch of RANEPA stars enrollment in free educational courses on programming “Code of the Future” under the “Digital Economy” national project. The courses start in September and are intended for schoolchildren of 8-11grades, students of technical schools and colleges. Director of the Kazan branch of RANEPA Nailya Askarova said that training in website development, Internet security and design is planned at the educational institution’s site. “The course will be conducted by our teachers. The students will get basic knowledge of the Python programming language; learn to create websites and cool graphics. After successful completion of their studies they will be issued appropriate certificates”, she said.
The courses include 4 modules and last a year. Classes will be held once a week in person and on a digital platform. It is necessary to submit an application for participation on the State Services Portal. If the applicant does not have a verified account, then parents or legal representatives can do this for him. Then it is necessary to pass the entrance test, independently study the materials of the first module and pass the test based on its results. “Code of the Future” educational programme is being implemented under the federal project “Development of Human Resources Potential in the IT Industry” of the “Digital Economy” national project, created on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2018.
