The pilot project "Info-lesson: enter IT and what cybersecurity is" starts in schools of Tatarstan. The training program is launched by the Innostage company throughout Russia, but it is the Tatarstan schoolchildren who will be the first to receive theoretical and practical knowledge on how to protect themselves online.
The project was organized by the Innostage Cybersecurity Academy in cooperation with the University of Talents with the support of Tatarstan Government, the administration of the Saby region of the republic, the Digital Russia federal party project, the United Russia Party, and RRC IT distributor. Feedback from students, teachers and parents received as a result of the pilot project will be used by the academy to form a programme of electives, which can take place both in Tatarstan and in other regions of Russia. This will help eliminate the shortage of personnel in the Russian information security industry.
On February 18, experts from the Innostage Cyber Security Academy will hold the first lesson at the secondary school in the village of Bogatye Saby. Students in grades 7-10, their parents and teachers will be able to take part in the classes. Academy specialists will discuss with teachers and parents of schoolchildren career guidance to help them choose a profession in the sphere of cybersecurity.
