By the tenth anniversary of the Naberezhnye Chelny IT Park, an ultra-small satellite to be launched into the stratosphere

On August 25, the first for Tatarstan launch into the stratosphere of an artificial satellite, which is also equipped with four modules for scientific and experimental research, will be carried out from the territory of the Menzelinsk Aero Club. The event is timed to the 10th anniversary of the Naberezhnye Chelny IT Park, and Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin and pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of Russia Andrey Borisenko are expected to be the guests of the event.

The event became possible due to the Space Launch programme, which is jointly implemented by Roscosmos, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization, the All-Russian Centre for the Development of Artistic Creativity and Humanitarian Technologies of Russian Ministry of Education and the Naberezhnye Chelny IT Park. The programme allows to touch space not even young scientists or students, but schoolchildren of 5-11 grades, and absolutely free of charge.
