9th Infoforum Eurasia/City opened

9th Infoforum Eurasia/City will be held on June 6-7 at Moscow Government House. More than 1000 information security specialists from Russia and CIS countries will take part in the event.
Main topic of the forum is SMART AND SAFE CITY: adoption of complex information solutions for ensuring life safety and smart use of resources of small and big cities.
The exhibition “Smart and safe city” will be organized within the framework of the forum. Major Russian and foreign companies - ZAO “RNT”, Russian corporation of communication means, Dell, Samsung Electronics, Motorola Solutions will present their latest solutions in the sphere of smart&safe city technologies.
Participants of the event will discuss safe transboundary electronic interaction, harmonization of national legislations, collective counteraction to organizational cybercrimes, safety of electronic payments and bank transfers.
They will also focus on the “school of future” and the impact of information technologies on educational process.
The information security in the sphere of culture and preservation of cultural heritage will be discussed for the first time.
One of the most acute problems nowadays is terrorism. Therefore, Organization of the Agreement for collective security arranged the discussion concerning interaction between mass media, society and governmental authorities in crisis situations and upon carrying out counter-terrorism measures.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
