On September 2, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin delivered a lecture to the students of Kazan Technical College of Information Technologies and Communications. The participants of the lecture discussed what digital transformation is and how it changes our life and public administration.
Khayrullin emphasized that the year 2020 marked the beginning of the exponential growth of digital innovation. According to a study of the Leadership and Digital Transformation Training Centre, established at the Higher School of Public Administration of the RANEPA, the coronavirus pandemic catalyzed the digitalization of the corporate and public sectors.
For example, 57 per cent of business representatives note that the COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to the acceleration of digitalization within companies, 38 per cent - a change in management culture and corporate culture, and 29 per cent eliminate or reorganize inefficient processes, departments and regulations.
New generations leave behind a “digital footprint”, resulting in a significant increase in data. Predictive analytics helps to explore this data and implement new client services. Digital platforms allow different parties to interact online. Government services are transferred into e-form, and the turnover of e-commerce is growing.
As many as 307 e-services are implemented at Tatarstan state services portal.
The annual socio-economic impact of e-services in the republic is estimated at 14.5 billion roubles. Tatarstan Minister emphasized that today we all live in the world of a race of robots and artificial intelligence algorithms.
