Russian IT projects to receive development grants of 3.8 billion roubles
Russian Information Technology Development Foundation holds grants contests for IT projects and companies implementing digital solutions.
This year the total amount of support is 3.8 billion roubles, and the conditions for receiving grants became much simpler and take into account the wishes of companies.
IT companies can apply for grants from 20 to 300 million roubles, and this support measure is now available to developers of both software and hardware systems.
Development companies including start-ups and spin-offs (branches of large companies separated into individual organizations) can take part in the contest without restrictions on OKVED (Russian Classification of Economic Activities) and the amount of revenue. At the request of the companies, the requirements for the package of documents were optimized and the project implementation dates were increased from 12 to 18 months.
