Residents and guests of Kazan can postmark «City of Labour Valour» on the correspondence
A special transferable postmark is dedicated to the awardance this honorary title to Kazan by the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin in July 2020.
The imprint of the stamp depicts the silhouette of the PЕ-2 combat aircraft. Every sixth such aircraft was manufactured in Kazan during the World War II. Aviation factories of the city manufactured a total of over 10,000 famous PE-2 and PE-8 bombers, considered the best models of this class of aircraft.
Post office clients and philatelists will be able to postmark a unique stamp at the central post office 420000 at the address: Kazan, st. Kremlevskaya, 8. The department is open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. with a lunch break from 01:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m.
