On February 4, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ayrat Khayrullin arrived on a working visit in Leninogorsk region of the republic, where he met its residents and informed about the digital processes in the republic.
Thus, he emphasized that the issues of ensuring high-quality Internet in the regions of the republic and improving the State Services Portal for the convenience of Tatarstan citizens remains the priority. He said that there is an important role in this work assigned to municipalities.
Khayrullin said that Leninogorsk residents remain one of the most active users of Tatarstan State Services Portal: about 40 per cent of the region's population use the services and products of the Portal.
The minister spoke about the issues of high-speed Internet in the region. Leninogorsk is one of the ten regions of the republic with the highest penetration rate of broadband Internet access.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister introduced “Become an Online Entrepreneur” programme planned for implementation, which will help to involve up to 10,000 residents in Internet commerce.
