Concept of portal with open data of government authorities is being prepared in Tatarstan

Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Anisa Gainullina said that Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communication is preparing the concept of Internet portal “Open Tatarstan”. The portal will consist of the following sections: “Open data”, “Public control”, and “Public initiatives”.

According to Anisa Gainullina, the project “Open data” is at the stage of approval. It is expected that the section will contain data (XML, XLS, HTML (table), DBF) machine-readable format, and graphics. Besides, useful services such as “living maps”, geo location, ratings, etc.

Information contained in state information system “Public control” will be opened first of all. The platform of “Electronic Tatarstan” will become technological and organizational framework of the project. Currently the portal of state services uslugi.tatarstan.ru is operating within “Electronic Tatarstan”.

The portal of open data is to be launched in Perm, Tula regions, Krasnodar and St.Petersburg.

The Council for open data headed by Russian Minister Mikhail Abyzov started working in February.
