All-Russia programming tournament was held in IT park

13th open programming team tournament among students and pupils finished in Kazan IT park on March 18. Within two days best teams from Russia have been competing in solving super complex tasks.
Director of Kazan IT park Dinar Nasyrov, Director General of OAO “ICL-KPO VS” Viktor Dyachkov, employees of Tatarstan Ministry of Education, heads of field-specific departments of higher educational institutions participated in opening ceremony.
The tournament was organised by Tatarstan enterprise ICL-KPO VS. Viktor Dyachkov reminded that the company was founded in 1953. It was the largest enterprise in Soviet Union which produced 40 per cent of electronic computer equipment. Today it is the resident of Kazan IT park.
The company is planning to increase sales to $ 1 bln per year.
Director of Kazan IT park Dinar Nasyrov wished students to be fond of their work. The winner was chosen by number of solved tasks and minimum time of penalty minutes. Students of SPb NRU ITMO #1 (St.Petersburg) were best to cope with the task. They became absolute winners and received statuette and laptops. Moscow SU Trinity won golden medals, Ural FU Lynx – silver medals, Spb SU Angry Muffin - bronze medals.
Best school team was СУНЦ МГУ Fireball Team (Moscow).
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
