Russian StartUp Tour starts in Naberezhnye Chelny IT-park

On March 18, 2013 the road-show of development institutions Russian StartUp Tour starts in Naberezhnye Chelny IT-park. The project is organized by Skolkovo Fund, Zvorykin project, OAO “RVC”; partners are Fund for promoting small enterprises in scientific and technical sphere, Moscow Skolkovo management school, Skolkovo science and technology institute, ZAO “VTB “Kapital”, Skolkovo Technopark, Agency of Strategic Initiative.
The event is held under the auspice of Russian Ministry of economic development, Russian Ministry of education and science, Russian Ministry of communication and mass media, Federal agency for youth affairs.
From March to April competent experts of Russian development institutions, high-tech companies, venture investors and mentors will meet with young authors of innovative projects and representatives of startup companies.
Guests will listen to lectures and see master classes of experts from leading Russian development institutions. From 5 to 15 startups will be selected in every region. They will receive invitations to federal events dedicated to innovations. Most active and talented participants will get grants for development of their projects.
About 2,000 students of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (IITS) at Kazan Federal University (KFU) received scholarships for studies in “Software Engineering” with a focus on “Modern Software Development.” Annually, more than 22.6 million roubles are allocated from the regional budget for this purpose under the “Personnel for the Digital Economy” regional project.
To date, Yandex delivery robots began operating in the Novo-Savinovsky and Sovetsky districts of Kazan. On December 2025, robot delivery was firstly introduced in the Vakhitovsky district of the city.
The implementation of robot delivery is aimed at making everyday life more comfortable for residents through the use of advanced technology. Users will be able to track the movement of the courier robot on a map directly within the app, ensuring transparency and convenience. Since robots do not require breaks or rest periods, delivery services will operate reliably around the clock.
Mobile Telecommunication Systems Company reported on its activities in Tatarstan for the year 2025 during a weekly meeting at Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
Director of the MTS branch in Tatarstan Marat Kabanov outlined key areas of work in 2025 and the achieved results.
On March 27, Tatarstan Minister of Digitalization Ilya Nachvyn held a meeting with Director General of "Info-Obereg" Vladimir Dorofeev.
Such meetings between the minister and representatives of the IT community are held on Fridays in an open dialogue format. These personal meetings provide an opportunity for companies to share their experiences, discuss their projects and seek support.
