Tatarstan’s IT potential presented to Governor of Rostov region

Delegation of Rostov region led by the Governor Vasily Golubev visited Kazan IT-park during their official visit to Tatarstan.
Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov presented IT-park infrastructure. He told that Kazan IT-park had been working since 2009, total revenue of its residents in 2012 made 4,5 mln rubles. The minister explained that main mission of IT-park is to increase the share of ICT in region’s GRP. He told about Higher school of information technologies and information systems, and IT lyceum.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Anisa Gainullina presented electronic state services. Guests were especially interested in “Public control” system. Projects “Speakphone” and “Avtodoria” were presented to the delegation in Business incubator.
Students at Gymnasium No. 75 in Kazan took part in an educational session under the "Digital Literacy" project, focusing on topics such as "Pet Protection in the Digital World" and "Harmful tips on Digital Security", which is implemented in support of the national project “Data Economy”.
Tatarstan residents have increased their phone communication by one-third. According to MegaFon, in March 2025, the average person talked on the phone for 4 hours and 49 minutes per month. This year, the average call time has risen to 6 hours and 20 minutes.
On May 7, the Bashir Rameev IT Park will host the family festival in celebration of Radio and Communications Day. Registration for the upcoming open robotics and technological entrepreneurship tournament "ROBOKAZAN" is open.
